Founded in Bootle by John and Zara McGovern, Apollo Care Liverpool delivers exceptional care to adults of all ages who want to live happier, more independent lives at home.

Zara McGovern – Care Director

Outside of work: I enjoy travelling and spending time with friends and family, especially my sons, Joseph and Leighton.
John McGovern – Care Manager

Outside of work: I’m a lifelong Everton fan and love visiting football grounds across Europe. I also enjoy travelling with Zara and our two little Evertonians, Joseph and Leighton.
Caitlin MacDougall – Deputy Manager
“I’ve worked in care since 2017, beginning in an EMI nursing home before moving into domiciliary care in 2021. After the pandemic, supporting people in their own homes felt like the right move—and it’s where I’ve found some of the most meaningful moments in my career.”
Outside of work: I love walking my cocker spaniel and planning my next trip. I work hard and holiday often.
Claire Grace – Care Coordinator

Outside of work: I enjoy spending time with my grandchildren and getting out for long walks.
